General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales (hereinafter referred to as “Products”) concluded on the website orchidea.dz (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”) between the company ParaFikra (hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”) and the customer (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”).

The customer declares that they have read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale before placing an order. Validation of the order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.


Article 1 – Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all online sales between the Seller and any non-trading individual making a purchase on the Website. The Seller reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modifications apply as soon as they are published online.


Article 2 – Scope

These terms apply to all sales of products via the Website within the available stock and are destined for Algeria (hereinafter referred to as the “Territory”). The resale or redistribution of products purchased on the Website is strictly prohibited.


Article 3 – Products

The products offered are those displayed on the Seller’s Website, within the limits of available stock. The Seller reserves the right to modify the product assortment at any time. Each product is presented with a description of its main characteristics.


Article 4 – Product Orders

When the Customer confirms an order by clicking “Place my order”, they are deemed to have knowingly accepted the content and terms of the order, including these sales conditions, product quantities, pricing, characteristics, and delivery times.

Before validating the order, the buyer may review and correct any potential mistakes. The Seller’s team will confirm the order via email.

The Website reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order or delivery in cases of non-payment, partial payment, payment issues, or suspected fraud — including repeated customer absence during delivery or unfulfilled orders without legitimate reason.

If the customer provides an incorrect email address or does not receive the confirmation email, the Website cannot be held responsible. In such cases, the sale is considered final, unless canceled by the Seller due to product unavailability.

Purchases are reserved for individual consumers for personal use or as gifts. The Seller only sells products in quantities reflecting the average needs of a household.

The Website may refuse or cancel any order if the quantity or total amount is inconsistent with regular household use, if economic activity is suspected, or in the case of any abnormal order under applicable law.


Article 5 – Prices

Prices are listed in Algerian Dinar (DZD). The Seller may modify prices at any time, but will apply those in effect at the time of order. Shipping costs are added to the product price and shown before order confirmation.

Cash on Delivery:

  • Hand-delivered to the courier

Payment Process & Security:

No payment data is transmitted or stored on the Website. Once the order is accepted, you’ll be redirected to a summary page. Do not close the payment page before being redirected to the confirmation page which includes your order number. A confirmation email will also be sent.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order that does not meet security standards or is suspected of fraud or illegal activity under Algerian law.

All orders require payment in Dinar, including taxes and mandatory contributions. Bank charges are borne by the customer, including for refunds. Legal action will be taken in case of fraudulent payment.


Article 6 – Order Delivery

Delivery Terms: Products are delivered to the address provided during the order process.

Delivery Time: Shipments are handled by ZIMOU EXPRESS. Delivery takes up to 6 business days across Algeria, starting from the next business day after the order is validated, assuming accurate contact details are provided (name, phone number, address, building number, intercom code, etc.).

Late delivery does not entitle the customer to compensation, withholding, or order cancellation. For international or express shipping, the Customer can leave a message on the “Contact Us” page.

In any case of foreign delivery, the customer is considered the importer. Customs duties and other local taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.


Article 7 – Receipt of Delivered Goods

Customers must check the packaging and product condition. It’s the customer’s responsibility to refuse any opened package.

Claims regarding visible defects or non-conformity must be made in writing within four (4) days of delivery.

The customer must provide proof of any issues. The Seller must be allowed to inspect and remedy the situation. Customers should not attempt repairs themselves or involve third parties.

If the claim is valid, the product will be refunded or replaced depending on availability, and within 15 days after the return is received at the Seller’s address.


Article 8 – Personal Data

In accordance with Algerian Law 18-05 of May 10, 2018 on e-commerce, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal data. Requests must be made in writing to the Seller’s address.

We also commit, under Law 18-07 of June 10, 2018 on personal data protection, not to disclose your personal information. All such information is treated as confidential and used solely for order processing and internal communications.


Article 9 – Intellectual Property

All content on the Seller’s Website — including photos, logos, explanations — is protected by intellectual property rights and exclusively owned by us.

No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, or use any part of the site (images, logos, visuals, or texts) for any purpose, even partially.


Article 10 – Withdrawal and Returns

Under Law 18-05 of May 10, 2018, the Customer has 4 days from the delivery date to return any product that does not suit them for an exchange or refund, excluding return shipping costs.

Returned items must be in original condition and packaging (including manuals and accessories), suitable for resale, and accompanied by a purchase receipt.

Damaged or incomplete items will not be accepted. A withdrawal request must be clear and unambiguous. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Article 11 – Warranty

All products come with a warranty as required by applicable law. In case of non-conformity, items can be returned to the Seller for exchange or refund. Claims must be sent by post within 4 days of delivery.


Article 12 – Liability

The Seller is only bound by a best-effort obligation in online sales. It cannot be held responsible for internet-related issues such as data loss, hacking, service interruption, or other unintended problems.


Article 13 – Applicable Law and Disputes

These terms and all contracts concluded with customers are governed by Algerian law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be located in Chlef, Algeria.
